For one of the few times this season, it was two Aussies pitted against each other, as Tory Taylor and the Chicago Bears took on Jordan Mailata and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Would it be the punter or the offensive lineman that came out on top?
Here's how every Australian player performed in Week 13.
Aussie NFL Week 13 Wrap-up
Daniel Faalele
The Baltimore Ravens' win streak was always bound to end, but it came to a crushing stop on Thanksgiving against the returning Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals. The offence was particularly disappointing, as they only scored 14 points for the game, and were shut out in the fourth quarter as they tried to mount a comeback.
Lamar Jackson was sacked three times in the defeat, as it was another disappointing outing Daniel Faalele and the offensive line. Faalele and the Ravens are still the favourites to top the AFC North division, but a pivotal game in the race for the division title awaits this week against Pittsburgh.
Tory Taylor
The Chicago Bears established themselves as a legitimate Super Bowl threat against Jordan Mailata and the Philadelphia Eagles, winning 24-15 in a scoreline that flattered the Eagles.
Tory Taylor was only required to punt three times for the Bears, with his attempts totalling 127 yards, while his longest travelled for 51.
Jordan Mailata
For the Eagles meanwhile, panic is starting to slowly kick in, after the defending Super Bowl champions suffered their second straight defeat.
At quarterback, Jalen Hurts threw less than 60 per cent completion, including an interception. But Jordan Mailata and the offensive line did prevent him from getting sacked.
Mitch Wishnowsky
The Buffalo Bills bounced back to remain in the race for the AFC East division, with Josh Allen and the offence in full swing as they soundly defeated Pittsburgh 26-7.
The Bills offence was so cohesive that Aussie punter Mitch Wishnowksy was only required to punt twice, with his two attempts travelling 52 and 47 yards.
Michael Dickson
The Seattle Seahawks' defence dominated on Sunday, as they embarrassed the Minnesota Vikings to lead a 26-0 win.
Punter Michael Dickson was still kept relatively busy though, as he punted four times for an average of 50.8 yards, with his longest travelling 56.
Jeremy Crawshaw
The Denver Broncos emerged from the bye with a heart-racing game against Washington, but extended their win streak to nine in an overtime victory over the Commanders.
Jeremy Crawshaw didn't get to rest, punting four times for a total of 181 yards, with his longest going 50 yards.
