Heading into the home stretch of the NFL season, the AFC East is one of the more interesting divisions in the league.
The Buffalo Bills have won the division every year since 2020, but the New England Patriots entered Week 10 in pole position for the title. With the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets already at seven losses each, that means the division will come down to the top two teams.
Last week, the Bills had a huge win against the Kansas City Chiefs, but they produced a letdown this week in Miami as the Dolphins blew them out. That loss could be crucial with the Bills and the Patriots neck-and-neck for first place.
Meanwhile, the Patriots produced a huge road win over the Tampa bay Buccaneers, further cementing their place in the AFC playoff picture.
Here's a look at how the AFC East stands through Week 10.

The AFC East entered Sunday as a two-team race, as the Bills and Patriots were fighting for the top of the division. With the Bills loss to the Dolphins, though, Buffalo remains in second place in the AFC East as they have now lost three of their last five games.
Additionally, the Patriots had a huge win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, now allowing them to hold a 1.5-game lead. At 8-2, New England remains tied for the best record in the NFL, along with the Indianapolis Colts.
The Dolphins win means they remain in control of third place in the division, even though the Jets have now won two-straight games themselves.

The Bills schedule only gets tougher, as they play four first-place teams in their final nine games. However, they also have games against the Jets and Cleveland Browns in the final month, offering a softer landing amid the rough stretch.
Since the Patriots have already lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers this year, that game gives an opportunity for the Bills moving forward. Buffalo also has one more game on their schedule compared to New England.

The Patriots remaining schedule is lighter than the Bills', as the only above-.500 team they play is the Bills. That could change when New England plays the Ravens in December, since Baltimore is getting healthy and has been better now that Lamar Jackson is back.
Still, New England has four games against the Jets, Giants and Dolphins, three teams whose seasons are already over. The Patriots also get a Bengals team that has struggled after starting the season 2-0.
