Even outside of his endorsements, Wilson is very active off-the-field when it comes to other business endeavors and charity work.

In 2020, he became the Chairman of NFL FLAG, which works with flag football organizations globally to recruit new athletes. As of 2024, he even had his own youth flag football league, "Russell Wilson NFL FLAG."

One of Wilson's sports-related investments is with the Portland Diamond Project, which aims to bring an MLB team to Oregon. In 2018, Wilson became a partner in the effort to bring pro baseball to Portland.

"We believe Portland is the next great Major League Baseball city, and that's why Ciara and I are excited to announce we are a part of the Portland Diamond Project," Wilson said, per the Portland Diamond Project. "It is time for MLB in Portland."

Other business endeavors for Wilson include founding a sustainable men’s fashion company in 2016, Good Man Brand, and a kid’s sportswear line, 3BRAND. He's also the co-founder of mental fitness company "Limitless Minds."

He and his wife, Ciara, also established "Why Not You Productions," a production company that spans scripted and unscripted film, television and digital content projects, all focusing on inspiring narratives. Russell and Ciara also reportedly took ownership for the Seattle Sounders FC in 2019, and other investments Wilson has reportedly made include in "Molecule," a mattress company, as well as Prolific Machines and Therabody, companies focused on biotechnology and sports performance.

Wilson is the founder of the brand management firm “West2East Empire,” which also oversees two production companies. He also founded “TraceMe,”a platform intended for fans to connect with celebrities.

When it comes to charity work, in 2014, Wilson and his wife founded the "Why Not You Foundation," which is "dedicated to education, children’s health and fighting poverty, empowering today’s youth to lead with a why not you attitude." Where does Russell Wilson live?

While there are not many details available on Wilson's living arrangements during his stint with the Giants or Steelers, he's been connected to various high-profile properties in his previous career stops.

According to Architectural Digest, Wilson has owned a home just outside of San Diego in Rancho Santa Fe for a long while, where he "often hosts unofficial practices in the offseason." The property reportedly spans eight acres and used to be an equestrian estate, but Wilson converted the horse area into a football field. While Wilson doesn't play in California, he and his wife reportedly often spend time at the west-coast home.

Wilson also reportedly owns a home in Washington, as he long played for the Seahawks. He and Ciara bought one parcel of land in Bellevue, just outside Seattle, for $6.7 million in 2015, then another in 2019 for "around the same amount," per Architectural Digest. That property is reportedly 1.89 acres and sits right by Lake Washington, plus seven bathrooms, a home theater, a recording studio, a professional gym, a three-story elevator, a gazebo and a treehouse overlooking the lake.

However, in 2022, Wilson and his family reportedly sold his Washington properties for a total of around $31 million.

Upon joining the Broncos in 2022, Wilson and his wife purchased a property just outside Denver in Cherry Hills Village, Color., paying around a reported $25 million. The purchase of the 11,000-square-foot mansion reportedly set a record for the most expensive residential property purchase in the Denver area, but when he later left the Broncos in free agency, Wilson sold the property for around a $3.5 million loss.

Details are mostly unknown, but Wilson has also been linked to owning properties in Los Angeles and Mexico.
