On the field, Jordan Addison has been an ideal complement to Justin Jefferson. The 2023 first-round pick racked up 1,786 yards and 19 touchdowns over his first two seasons in the NFL, helping power the Minnesota Vikings to 14 wins in 2024.
Off the field, Addison has given the Vikings reason for concern. The young receiver has been arrested multiple times since entering the league, and it started to cost him on the field in 2025 when he served a three-game suspension to start the season.

2023 Speeding, Reckless Driving citation
Addison received a citation for speeding and reckless driving in June 2023 for driving 140 mph in a 55-mph zone. He would plead guilty to speeding in a deal that got the reckless driving charge dismissed. Addison only had to pay $686 in fines as a result of the deal.
Addison said he "made a mistake and used poor judgement" during the incident and said he would "learn from this and not repeat the behavior," though he would later attribute his decision to an emergency involving his dog.
The shocking speed of 140 mph evoked memories among NFL fans of former Raiders receiver Henry Ruggs III, who drove as fast as 156 mph while under the influence and killed a woman in a Las Vegas crash. Ruggs is currently serving a 3-10 year prison sentence.
Addison was not under the influence at the time, but he was still fortunate to avoid a similar type of incident that would have carried more serious consequences than a simple citation.

2024 DUI arrest
Addison was arrested on July 12, 2024 in Los Angeles on suspicion of DUI. Addison was found asleep at the wheel in a white Rolls-Royce near Los Angeles International Airport.
While Addison wasn't driving at the time of the arrest, he was reportedly blocking a lane of traffic not far from the airport. Addison had been sitting in traffic but was asleep by the time traffic started moving again, which drew the attention of police.
In 2025, Addison pleaded no contest to a lesser charge, resolving the case with only a misdemeanor on his record. With the case settled, he received a three-game suspension from the NFL and served it at the start of the 2025 season.

2026 trespassing arrest
Addison was arrested and charged with trespassing in Tampa Bay in the early morning hours of Jan. 12, 2026, Heavy Sports first reported.

The arrest took place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino shortly before 4 a.m. ET. Addison was released on bail the same afternoon.
Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell declined to get into detail about Addison's arrest, telling reporters, "I just learned about that very, very recently, so I don’t want to speculate on that in any way, shape or form."
