A year of reunions continues for the Las Vegas Raiders.

Monday morning, Las Vegas reached an agreement with free agent wide receiver Tyler Lockett, per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. The signing reunites Lockett with former Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll and his former quarterback, Geno Smith.

Lockett, 33, is in his 11th NFL season. He began the year with the Tennessee Titans, but was granted a release to find a more ideal situation. Now, Lockett enters a situation with familiar faces on a team that will likely experience changes in its WR room.

Here is how Lockett fits into the bigger picture.

With the Lockett signing, the Raiders' WR room gets a little more crowded, but with a caveat.

Seven-year veteran Jakobi Meyers is unquestionably WR1 in Vegas, but he's got one foot out the door. After not receiving the extension that he sought, Meyers requested a trade, and when asked if he still wanted to be traded, Meyers said, "For sure," but maintained that he would do his job as a professional.

Here's how the room looks after the Lockett signing:

1. Jakobi Meyers

Despite missing a game, Meyers has been targeted more than any other Las Vegas receiver this season. With that in mind, he has yet to get into the end zone.

The fractured relationship between Meyers and the organization suggests that the partnership may be over soon, but he'll remain atop the depth chart so long as he is suiting up in the black and silver.

2. Tre Tucker

Tucker, 24, leads the Raiders in receiving yards and touchdowns through Week 8.

By many metrics, the third-year veteran has shown promise as an important part of the receiving corps in the near and distant future. The numbers suggest comfort in the system and a good relationship with Smith.

3. Dont'e Thornton

He's got big play potential, evidenced by his 18.8 yards per catch through seven games. The 22-year-old rookie has promise and will benefit from the addition of a veteran mentor at his position.

4. Jack Bech

Bech was a second-round selection in 2025 and will benefit from more reps. The focus for the young receivers on this team is growth and improvement, two things that are possible with more opportunities.

5. Tyler Lockett

At 33, Lockett's best days are behind him, but he's still capable of making an impact.

Tennessee was not a good fit for the veteran, as he caught 10 passes for 70 yards in seven games, a steep drop off from his 600 yards over 17 games with the Seahawks in 2024. A reunion with Smith could bring him back up to speed.

6. Alex Bachman

Bachman is in his second season with the Raiders franchise, meaning the familiarity is there. The Wake Forest product began the season on the practice squad but was elevated in early October, adding depth to the room.

7. Justin Shorter

Shorter is in his third NFL season and second with Las Vegas. Like Bachman, he began the year on the practice squad but was elevated to the active roster, where he also brings depth.
