Micah Parsons injury update: Latest news on Packers star defender after suffering non-contact injury vs. Broncos image

When the Green Bay Packers acquired Micah Parsons days before the 2025 season, they cemented their status as a title contender.

That's held true so far this season, as the Packers have been contending to claim the NFC North as the regular season winds down. On Sunday, Green Bay was seeking to inch closer to the playoffs in a matchup against another Super Bowl contender, the Denver Broncos.

However, Parsons exited the game in the third quarter with an apparent non-contact knee injury, and there is "initial belief" that he suffered a torn ACL, per Adam Schefter.

Here's the latest on Parsons after exiting in Week 15.

There is "initial belief" that Parsons tore his ACL on Sunday against the Broncos, per Adam Schefter. The confirmation will be determined after further testing.

With the Packers trailing 27-23 in the third quarter on Sunday, Parsons started to chase down Broncos quarterback Bo Nix on a first-down play. As Parsons broke through the line and planted his feet to potentially tackle Nix, he drove his left foot into the ground, then immediately stopped and jumped into the air while grabbing at his left knee.

Parsons remained on the ground in pain as trainers assessed to him, still grabbing at his left knee.

He appeared to say "I'm out" while on the ground.

The Packers star was helped off the field and back into the team's locker room.

Green Bay ruled him out for the game shortly afterward.
