After months of speculation, we finally have an NBA Draft order, with the 2025 Draft Lottery taking place Tuesday.
Shockingly, the Dallas Mavericks claimed the top pick despite holding just a 1.80% chance, while the top three was rounded out by San Antonio and Philadelphia.
But it was a tough night for the Utah Jazz, who fell to fifth as they saw an unfortunate team trend continue.

Utah Jazz see incredible NBA Draft lottery trend continue
The Utah Jazz finished with the worst record in the NBA this season, winning just 17 games.
This saw them enter the Draft Lottery with the best odds of any team - a 14% chance at the top pick and 52.1% to land inside the top four.

Instead, they found themselves with the fifth pick in the draft, leap-frogged by four separate teams.
While alarming, this certainly isn't new for the Utah franchise; not only have the Jazz never held the top pick in an NBA Draft since the inception of the lottery in 1986, they have never even seen themselves moved up in the order.
They also continued another lottery-related streak Tuesday, becoming the third franchise in a row to finish with the highest draft odds but fall to the fifth pick, after the Detroit Pistons accomplished the feat in back-to-back years.
Since the NBA changed its lottery system in 2019, the team with the worst record has never gained the top overall pick, with Utah's draft woes adding to the trend.
