Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton is best point guard in NBA Playoffs history to start a career image

To quote Tyrese Haliburton: "Overrate THAT."

The guy named the NBA's most overrated player by a late-season anonymous players poll in The Athletic might actually be off to the best start to a point guard playoffs career in NBA history.

Consider this stat:

That's absolutely amazing.

The 3-point shooting is the separator for Haliburton from a guy like Magic Johnson for a stat like this.

But it's also a list that doesn't see the likes of Stephen Curry, Damian Lillard or James Harden, either.

There's a case to be made that Haliburton benefits slightly from being in the Eastern Conference, but that has an element of randomness to it.

The reality is that pretty much no one dishes dimes like Haliburton while making shots, winning games and also simply not turning the ball over.

This is a rare bunch, and they just knocked off the top-seed Cavs. There's no reason to stop believing in the Pacers and Haliburton now.
