Cairns Taipans rising talent Alex Higgins-Titsha has been offered an NBA call-up, invited to the Golden State Warriors' mini-camp this June.
The 24-year-old had an impressive 2024-25 season, becoming one of Cairns' most exciting players after moving into the starting lineup as a development player.
He will now get the chance to show his gifts in an audition for the Warriors, the same team that signed his Taipans teammate Taran Armstrong to a two-way deal at the end of the regular NBA season.

The six-foot-six forward impressed during an otherwise disappointing Taipains campaign, averaging 6.2 points and 3.9 rebounds per game, as well as recording a career-first double-double against the Brisbane Bullets.
"This invitation to the GSW mini-camp is a testament to Alex’s relentless dedication and hard work, day in and day out," Higgins-Titsha’s agent Andre Williams said.
"He’s put in the effort, stayed focused and earned this opportunity through sheer commitment.
"We’re excited to see him showcase his talent and continue to grow at the next level.
"Higgins-Titsha will return to the Cairns Marlins after the camp, as he prepares for the 3x3 World Cup for the Gangurrus."
Higgins-Titsha is currently under contract for the Cairns Taipans, who will look to take a leap after a disappointing 8-21 season.
