On the day it was revealed Josh Giddey was in the mix for an all-star berth, his chances at receiving his first call-up may have been dashed by his latest injury.
In the Chicago Bulls' Tuesday loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Australian managed just 17 minutes, as a hamstring injury ended his night early.
While it isn't clear what play in particular led to the injury, Giddey asked to be subbed out while dribbling the ball up the court in the third quarter, as he reached for his hamstring.
He would soon be ruled out for the rest of the game by the team.

While it's not clear exactly what the severity of the injury is, in some good news for the Bulls fans, it was reported after the game by K.C. Johnson that the 23-year-old was not carrying an obvious limp.
