Season nine of Dana White's Contender Series is in the books after ten weeks of enthralling viewing.
From highlight-reel knockouts to brutal submissions, the UFC fanbase were introduced to the next generation of marquee stars.
One such fighter was Australian sharpshooter Marwan Rahiki who featured in the final episode and earned a contract with a stunning comeback stoppage.
Rahiki fought Congolese powerhouse Ananias "Metal" Mulumba and was in serious trouble throughout the early going.
The Aussie was dropped twice and found himself in a tight submission before rallying back to score a second-round knockout by way of knees, elbows and an uppercut.
After the fight, UFC president Dana White described the performance as "durable and tough; not only physically but mentally."
"When I see a kid like you that's young, 6-0 with a 100 per cent finish rate, I'm pretty much guaranteed that you've faced zero adversity.
"We saw some adversity tonight and you literally showed the whole world who you are.
"You're very talented, you're very athletic... and I think you have a very bright future in this sport.
"Welcome to the UFC."

Who is Marwan Rahiki?
Rahiki is a fighter of Australian and Moroccan descent who holds a professional record of seven wins with no defeats.
The 23-year-old has never seen the scorecards, earning six knockouts and one submission in his rapid rise to the sports premiere organisation.
He trains out of the Lion’s Den Academy in Sydney and has already claimed both the HEX Series and Beatdown Promotions titles in his young career.
It is unclear at this stage when and where Rahiki will fight next, however, given the brutal nature of his DWCS bout, it would be safe to assume that he will be medically suspended for a while.
That recovery timeline could be in line with the promotions rumoured return to Australian shores in February of 2026.
No details have been confirmed about the potential trip down under yet, but a debut fight in front of a home crowd would be the perfect way for Rahiki to build on Tuesday night's star-making performance.
