The UFC have announced that their broadcast rights deal with Paramount will extend to Australian subscribers.

Beginning in January 2026, Aussie's with a Paramount membership will gain access to all of the promotion's Fight Night events as well as the preliminary bouts on numbered cards.

This follows the deal recently struck between the two entities in the United States which is worth a whopping $7.7B over seven years.

Fans will now have the option to stream live events on Paramount+, in partnership with Network 10 who will simulcast selected fights.

"The partnership with Paramount has already been incredible and it just keeps getting bigger and better," said UFC President Dana White.

"They are now taking on new territories like Australia and this thing is just going to continue to grow.

"It just shows you how aggressive they are with this business, and I love it.

"I can’t wait to continue working together and building the next generation of talent all over the world."

Beverley McGarvey, head of streaming, Paramount ANZ and President of Network 10 was optimistic about adding another live sports giant to the company's portfolio.

"We are delighted to add UFC to our sport offering in Australia," she said.

Paramount+ service launched in Australia in 2021 and is currently priced at a maximum of AU$13.99 per month.

Their modest sport offering here is headlined by Socceroos and Matildas matches, as well as the men's and women's A-Leagues.

The agreement will see the MMA organisation broadcast 13 numbered events and 30 Fights Nights per year.

The UFC's current partnership with Main Event in Australia will continue without a hitch, as they will remain the exclusive distributor of pay-per-view main cards through either Foxtel or Kayo.
