MORE: Who has thrown the most strikeouts in an MLB playoff game?

There are 14 Major League Baseball teams that have never won the World Series.

The Brewers, Mariners, Padres, Rays, and Rockies are among the five franchises that have yet to secure a World Series championship. Among that collection of teams, the Mariners stand out as the sole franchise that hasn't yet participated in the Fall Classic.

The Guardians haven't won a World Series in 75 years, the longest such streak in baseball. They last won in 1948. The team's most recent World Series appearance was in 2016, when they were defeated by The Cubs in a seven-game series.
