The eyes of the equine world will descend on Melbourne for the first Tuesday of November.
Once again, some of Australia's best stayers will take on the international raiders, with a share of $10 million on the line in the 2025 Melbourne Cup.

What channel is the Melbourne Cup on?
The 2025 Melbourne Cup will be broadcast live on free-to-air via Channel 9.
While the Seven Network holds the rights for the majority of Melbourne and Sydney horse racing over the spring, all four days of the the Melbourne Cup Carnival will be broadcast on Nine.
Sky Racing will also show the race live.
How to live stream Melbourne Cup
If you can't get to a TV on raceday, this year's Melbourne Cup will be available to stream live on 9Now, which is the Nine network's streaming platform.
Racing.com will also stream the race live via their app and websites.
What time is the Melbourne Cup?
This year's Melbourne Cup will be held on Tuesday, November 4.
As the feature event at Flemington Racecourse, the race is scheduled to start at 3:00 pm AEDT.
Coverage kicks off at 10 am.
