After a trip to Rome in 2023, the Ryder Cup is returning to the U.S. in 2025.

The biennial golf event, which pins a U.S. squad against a European squad, has traditionally alternated venues in the United States and Europe in its nearly century of existence. Recent U.S destinations for the Ryder Cup include Wisconsin (2021), Minnesota (2016) and Illinois (2012), while the recent Europe trips have included Italy (2023), France (2018) and Scotland (2014).

This year, the Cup is heading to the northern United States for a course that hosted the 2002 U.S. Open, 2009 U.S. Open, and 2019 PGA Championship.
