The transatlantic rivalry between USA and Europe returns with the 2025 Ryder Cup, which begins at the Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale, New York from Friday.

This will be the 45th edition of the Ryder Cup, a tournament where 12-member teams from the USA and Europe, comprising some of the best golfers in the world, compete against each other.

Team USA holds the historical edge, as they lead the head-to-head series 27-15-2. However, at the last edition in 2023, it was the Europeans who emerged victorious at Rome after a sensational comeback on the final day.

Playing in front of their home crowd, USA will once again be the favorites.

We at The Sporting News will be tuned in to all the action to begin at Bethpage State Park, and we're the best place to keep tabs on all the competitors, schedules and TV details at the Ryder Cup golf 2025 edition.
