It will take place over a standard race weekend format, with qualifying on Saturday and the race on Sunday.

This year's spectacle will also continue to feature F2 and F3 action, with both racing championships making their Australian debut in 2023.

Melbourne F1 location: Albert Park to host Australian Grand Prix again

The Albert Park Circuit in Melbourne, Victoria will again host the Australian Grand Prix in 2024.

A temporary street circuit, it is conveniently located just south of the city's CBD.

It has notably undergone a number of renovations in recent years.

Ahead of the 2022 race, seven corners were adjusted - with two removed entirely - in an effort to enable more overtaking opportunities and promote faster and more competitive racing.

The chicane at Turns 9 and 10 was also removed, with these changes set to remain long-term.
