Thomas Frank’s growing influence at Tottenham is beginning to shape the club’s direction both on and off the pitch.

The Danish manager has taken the North London Club like a fish to the water after guiding Brentford to 10th place last season.

And now he is looking to bring one of his former players into the fold, with Football Insider reporting that Spurs now considering a move for Kevin Schade as they look to strengthen their attack ahead of a demanding second half of the season.

Schade worked under Frank during his time at Brentford and remains highly regarded by the coach for his pace, versatility and pressing intelligence.

The German forward’s familiarity with Frank’s system could make him a valuable addition, particularly with Tottenham competing in the Champions League and starting strongly in the EPL.

Spurs currently sit third in their League with 14 points from seven games.

Tottenham’s summer spending exceeded £180m [$241m], a clear sign of ambition that has translated into strong performances across all fronts.

Yet reportedly, Frank believes more attacking depth is needed especially with injuries testing the squad’s balance and Schade, who has already adapted to Premier League intensity could provide that spark.
