The Socceroos have all but locked in their spot at next year's World Cup.

After some frustrating results at the backend of last year, Australia defeated Indonesia 5-1 and China 2-0 in March, as they continued their qualification push.

Now, a late win over Japan has put Tony Popovic's side on the plane to North America.

When is the Socceroos' next match?

Australia's next match is a World Cup qualifier against Saudi Arabia on June 10, 2025.

Kickoff is set for 4:15 am AEST at King Abdullah Sport City.

Depending on earlier results, the clash could be purely academic.
