Paris is all set to host the 69th edition Ballon d'Or ceremony on Monday, September 22, with some of the most important figures in soccer set in attendance.

Ousmane Dembele is the front-runner to win the men's Ballon d'Or after playing a key role in PSG's historic treble. However, he will face some competition from Barcelona duo Raphinha and Lamine Yamal, who have had a phenomenal season as well.

There are a few top contenders for the women's best player of the season award, with the likes of Mariona Caldentey, Alexia Putellas, Alessia Russo, and Aitana Bonmati all in the running.
