Manchester United teenager James Overy is among several surprise selections in the latest Socceroos squad to play Venezuela and Colombia.
Tony Popovic named a 26-player list for the friendly matches against the Venezuelans in Houston on November 15 (AEDT) and the Colombians in New York on November 19 (AEDT).
Overy, 17, who plays for Manchester United's youth teams, has recently impressed for the Young Socceroos at the under-20 World Cup.
The right-back turns 18 on the weekend and recently signed his first professional contract with Manchester United.

Other possible Australian debutants include Melbourne City pair Patrick Beach and Kai Trewin, Poland-based striker Deni Juric, Hibernian defender Jack Iredale and Sydney FC duo Al Hassan Toure and Paul Okon-Engstler.
