Harry Kane has once again fueled talk of a future beyond the football pitch.
The Bayern Munich and England star admitted that an NFL move remains “in the back of my mind,” even as he continues to dominate European football.
Kane, a lifelong fan of American football, has spoken before about his dream of becoming an NFL placekicker.
His love for the New England Patriots and admiration for Tom Brady have only strengthened those links.
After scoring the winner for Bayern against Celtic in the Champions League earlier this year, Kane told CBS, “It’s always something that’s in the back of my mind but still a long way away yet, we’ll see in the future if it will be possible.”

While Kane’s penalty record suggests he could adapt to NFL kicking, the switch would mean a full commitment to a new sport and another move for his family.
At 32, he remains focused on Bayern and England, with his contract in Germany running through 2027. He also insists he still has “many more years ahead” in soccer before any decision is made.
Not everyone is sold on the idea. Former Manchester United striker Giuseppe Rossi jokingly warned Kane about the physical toll of the NFL.
Rossi said, “You just need to get hit once, and you’re done… sometimes a kicker does get hit, and you don’t want that to happen.”
For now, Kane shows no signs of slowing down in football. He already has 10 goals in six games for Bayern this season and continues to chase records for club and country. But fans on both sides of the Atlantic will be watching closely to see if his dream of swapping goals for field goals ever takes flight.
