AC Milan midfielder Tijjani Reijnders has turned heads with his performances for the Rossoneri in the 2024-25 campaign.
Reijnders netted 15 goals and provided five assists in 54 appearances across competitions for AC Milan this season.
Several reports have suggested that multiple top clubs have been interested in signing Reijnders in the summer transfer window, with Manchester City topping the list of suitors.
Man City's reported interest in Reijnders has been persisting for a while now, with the Premier League side keeping track of him since the beginning of this year.
And now, according to BBC Sport, Man City have reached an agreement with AC Milan to bring Reijnders to the Etihad.
While speaking to Voetbal Internatioanl about the potential transfer, Reijnders stated (comments via Sport Witness) that it is about 'waiting' for him while the clubs make decisions.

"The clubs [AC Milan & ManCity] are still in talks. For me, it’s a waiting game now..."
The 26-year-old also revealed that he has spoken to one player of the Man City squad, Nathan Ake, ahead of this potential move.
What did Man City star Nathan Ake tell Tijjani Reijnders?
Reijnders and Ake are set to help the Netherlands national team in the upcoming World Cup European qualifiers.
The Dutch midfielder mentioned that Ake 'would like' if he joined Man City this summer.
"Here at Oranje, I’ve already talked to him briefly about it. He would like it if I came that way. But it’s not that far yet,” said Reijnders.
Speaking further about his potential move to the Etihad, Reijnders said that while joining the Premier League is a childhood dream, he has not been in contact with Man City head coach Pep Guardiola yet.
"I've been involved very little. My father does that. The Premier League is of course a great competition, that’s what you dream of as a little boy. I haven’t had any contact with [Pep] Guardiola yet, that’s not on the agenda yet," added Reijnders.
With his contract with AC Milan valid until the summer of 2030, it remains to be seen if Reijnders is at the dugout of the Etihad next season.
