Rayan Ait Nouri is Manchester City's first signing of the ongoing summer transfer window.
Man City signed Ait Nouri from Wolverhampton Wanderers on a five-year contract valid until the summer of 2030 for a reported initial fee of £31.2 million, with bonuses taking the total deal up to £36.3 million.
Following the signing, Man City's Director of Football Hugo Viana expressed confidence (comments via Manchester Evening News) in Ait Nouri to be 'an excellent addition' to the squad.
"Rayan is a player that as a club we have been following closely for quite some time and we are delighted he has joined us. He already has extensive Premier League experience and has also demonstrated his quality at international level with Algeria," he said.
“We feel sure that he will be an excellent addition to our squad and that working alongside Pep and his coaching staff will help develop his game even further. And at just 24 he is someone we feel sure will help us in our objective to bring more success to the club," added Viana.
Ait Nouri shared his thoughts on his decision to join Man City, referring to it as 'easy.'
