Liverpool have reportedly reached an agreement to loan Harvey Elliott to Aston Villa on Deadline day.

After a one-season tenure at his boyhood club, Fulham, Elliott arrived at Anfield in 2019 and was loaned to Blackburn Rovers for the 2020–2021 campaign.

The news of Elliott's loan move to Villa Park comes after Liverpool were reportedly able to secure Alexander Isak's signing from Newcastle United for a British transfer record fee of £125m earlier today.

Elliott, who was valued at over £40m plus a buy-back option, or above £50m without one by Liverpool, had previously attracted reportedly transfer interest from German club RB Leipzig

Now, according to The Athletic, Liverpool and Aston Villa have discussed terms that would allow Unai Emery's side to comply with UEFA’s financial restrictions and have worked out a loan deal for Elliott.

Elliott is now reportedly making the trip to the Midlands for a medical assessment to complete his loan move to Aston Villa, which can potentially strengthen Emery's squad for the campaign.

While the official announcement from either club and/or player awaits, Elliott is set to begin a new chapter in his career after registering 15 goals and 20 assists in 149 appearances for Liverpool.
