Crystal Palace have a massive void in their roster after they decided to sell Eberechi Eze to Arsenal and with possible Europa League football this season, the Eagles need more attacking firepower.

They are already on the verge of signing Yeremy Pino from Villarreal for a deal worth £26m to fill up the role left by the England star.

However, it is too big a responsibility from Pino, who is only 22-year-old and will be playing in a new league and in different surroundings.

Therefore, they need more attacking reinforcements this summer to hand manager Oliver Glasner with more flexibility as Palace will need every bit of squad depth that they can get this season.

Hence, according to The Sun journalist Charlie Wyett's reports, Palace are eyeing a move for Arsenal's Reiss Nelson, who is also in Fulham's radar after spending last season on loan at the Craven Cottage.

Palace are willing to offer in the region of £15m ($20m) for the 25-year-old Arsenal star, who is eager to break away from North London on a permanent transfer.

Will Arsenal outcast Nelson be a good signing for Crystal Palace?

Crystal Palace have had a lukewarm start to their Premier League 2025/26 campaign with a couple of stalemates against Chelsea and Nottingham Forest.

However, they have won the first leg of the Europa League playoffs against Norwegian club Fredrikstad FK and need to avoid defeat in the second leg to book their place in their first ever European tournament.

Therefore, they are looking at Nelson to provide the depth that they need on the flanks. The 25-year-old has started in 12 games for Fulham last season netting a goal and an assist whilst creating 13 chances.

He has been at Arsenal for his entire professional career with loan stints at Hoffenheim, Feyenoord and Fulham being the only exceptions.

Overall, he has had 35 starts and 55 substitute appearances for the Gunners but he never really managed to cement his place in the team despite showing glimpses of his quality.

Nelson is known for his versatility, acceleration, 1v1 duels and exceptional dribbling abilities and could be a valuable player for Palace.

A move to Palace would work for all three parties with Nelson pushing for a starting role at Selhurst Park whereas it will also allow Arsenal some added funds to reinvest in the market.
