There are dozens of PDC dartsevents each year, giving stages and opportunities for players to thrive.
Certain events are more sought after than others. Ranked TV majors such as the World Championship and World Matchplay are much more important than winning a Players Championship or European Tour event.
They're all hard to win, but winning majors has a different feel to it.
Several high-ranked players on the Main OoM have yet to win a ranked TV title.
What players have yet to win a TV major?
As the calendar almost turns to September, there are tons of big tournaments ahead in the last few months of 2025.
Today, we're going to see what five players are in contention to win their first career TV major before 2025 is up.

Josh Rock
This name shouldn't be a surprise to see after a strong 2025 so far for Rock.
He did win the World Cup in June with teammate Daryl Gurney, but that doesn't count as an individual ranked title.
He's been a semifinalist in both the World Matchplay and UK Open this year, helping him move all the way up to world number 11.
Rock has also won several Pro Tour events in his career, so he's bound to eventually find a first career major with the form he's in.
Damon Heta
Heta is the current world number 10 and is also looking for his first career major.
He's in a similar boat to Rock's, having a World Cup title to his name, but not an individual TV title yet.
Heta has had some solid runs in tournaments at majors, but hasn't quite gotten over the hump to reach farther than one semifinal appearance, which he had at the UK Open in 2024.

Dave Chisnall
Chizzy is in a unique position among the players on this list, being a very experienced player with almost 15 years in the PDC.
He's made it to six finals at majors, but has gone 0-6 to this point.
Chisnall is the world number 13, and is searching for a first major final appearance since 2022, when he lost to Joe Cullen at the World Masters.

Gian van Veen
Gian is still very young and has all the time in the world to grab his first title.
He picked up a huge upset win over Luke Humphries in Blackpool last month at the World Matchplay, displaying how he can be a legit threat going forward.
With only a handful of appearances at majors over the past few years, he's already made some impressive tournament runs, showing he's capable of being a consistent player who will eventually break through.

Martin Schindler
Schindler has dominated at times in certain areas, specifically on the European Tour.
With the European Championship around the corner, Schindler currently sits 2nd overall on that OoM for 2025.
It may take a shorter format style tournament for Schindler to get his first title, but he should get his shot if he continues to improve and compete with the best week in and week out.
