Australia start their fresh cycle of the World Test Championship with their three-match series away from home against West Indies starting from June 25.
Ahead of the series, some words are being exchanged between the camps with Ian Healy from the Aussie side coming out and handing a stern warning to Shamar Joseph after the latter's warning to Sam Konstas.

Joseph was notably the hero of the Gabba Test with his 7/68 when these two sides faced each other back in January 2024 and the visitors stunned Australia after 27 years.
Sam Konstas was not a part of the Australian side back then; however, he is all set to open for Australia in the upcoming series.

'You are not Curtly Ambrose': Ian Healy to Shamar Joseph
Following Shamar Joseph's advice to Konstas, saying, "Just look out, that's all" ahead of the series opener in Barbados, speaking to SENQ Breakfast's host Corey Parker, former wicketkeeper bat pointed out the poor year that the West Indies pacer has had since his Gabba heroics
"He’s had a terrible year since he went through us at the Gabba. He had this toe that had blown up and didn’t think he could play, he got out of his injury bed after someone said just come down and try it, and then he realised 'oh, you can play with pain.' said Healy

"OK Shamar well you’ve delivered crap all year. So he better improve, that’s what I’m saying in the dressing room. He’s got real trouble. You’re not Curtly Ambrose, champ," he added.
Notably, since the last time WI toured Australia, Shamar's bowling has been hot and cold with 16 wickets in 6 matches at an average of 34.43 and a strike rate of 53/3 and has also been going through some injuries.
These war of words is certainly going to make the upcoming series fiesty with both teams looking for a good start to the WTC 2025-27.
