The Ashes between Australia and England are only 18 days away, with day one of the Perth test at Optus Stadium sold out since July.
While England named their 16-man Ashes squad in late September, Australia has yet to name their squad to take on their arch-rivals, but a squad announcement is expected this week.
Australian selectors will be choosing the team over the next two days, before an announcement of an expected 15-man squad will be made mid-week, according to The Age.
While there are some questions about who will be in the Australian Ashes squad, there is at least one certainty with captain Pat Cummins ruled out, which will see Steve Smith captain the side.

Victorian quick Scott Boland is expected to bowl in Cummins' place and has been in great form in the Sheffield Shield, taking 11 wickets at an average of 17.72 across two matches.
Marnus Labuschagne (85.25) has solidified his place in the squad with strong Shield results after questions were raised about his place in the team while Usman Khawaja (50.5) has played well for Queensland.
Who opens with Khawaja will be a question answered this week, with the Queensland captain saying teammate Matthew Renshaw would be his pick for the role.
