One of the iconic rivalries in cricket will reignite when India and Pakistan go head-to-head in the high-stake Super Four clash of the Asia Cup this Sunday.

Defending champions India defeated Oman by 21 runs to finish the group stage on a high. With three wins from three matches, India topped Group A to cement their dominance. They had already sealed a Super Four berth with a six-wicket win over Pakistan in the group stage a week ago.

Pakistan, meanwhile, became the second team to book their spot with a 41-run victory in a must-win game against the UAE. Salman Agha and team will be itching to turn the tables on India this time around.

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch the match, kickoff times and the latest lineup news.

India vs. Pakistan Asia Cup match predicted XIs, team news

All-rounder Axar Patel is likely to miss the game after hurting his head while fielding against Oman. If he remains unavailable, then Rinku Singh may step in, or they can call up Washington Sundar, who is on the stand-by list, to join the squad.

Pacer Jasprit Bumrah and Varun Chakravarthy will return to the playing XI after being rested in the previous match.

Even though Shubman Gill hasn't piled on the runs yet, will continue to open the innings for India with the explosive Abhishek Sharma. Sanju Samson, who was brought in at one down against Oman, made the most of the opportunity as he scored a quick 56.

India predicted XI: Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill, Suryakumar Yadav (c), Tilak Varma, Sanju Samson (wk), Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dube, Axar Patel/Rinku Singh, Kuldeep Yadav, Varun Chakravarthy, Jasprit Bumrah.

Pakistan's major concern in this tournament is not their bowling but the opening pair of Sahibzada Farhan (74 runs in 3 innings) and Saim Ayub. The explosive left-right combination has failed to rise to the occasion.

The men in green made two changes to their lineup against UAE -- they brought in Haris Rauf and Khushdil Shah. Rauf, playing his first match in the Asia Cup this year, took two wickets and proved why he shouldn't be ignored.

Shaheen Afridi has been their leading pacer and the addition of Rauf will bolster the attack. Abrar Ahmed and Mohammad Nawaz will handle the spin department.

Pakistan predicted XI: Sahibzada Farhan, Saim Ayub, Fakhar Zaman, Salman Agha (c), Hasan Nawaz, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Haris (wk), Abrar Ahmed, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Khushdil Shah.
