Sam Konstas' chances at an Ashes nod have taken a major hit in the second round of the Sheffield Shield, after the 20-year-old produced just a four-ball duck against Victoria.
New South Wales bowled out Victoria for 240, giving Konstas the chance to set the tone for the Blues' late in the first day.
But Konstas lasted just four balls before being taken LBW by fellow Ashes hopeful Scott Boland.

After bursting onto the scene last summer against India, Konstas' spot in the test side was already hanging by a thread, after a horrid tour of the West Indies saw him collect two ducks in six innings, and a high score of 25.
Konstas has carried his underwhelming form into the start of the Shield season, after he produced just four and 14 against Western Australia last week.
Boland, meanwhile, looks set to lock up his spot in the Ashes, with Australian captain Pat Cummins set to miss the start of the series.
