He won’t feature in the current Ashes Series against England due to multiple early-summer injuries.
But veteran Australian paceman Josh Hazlewood says he has no intention of retiring from Test cricket.
The 34-year-old from Tamworth says he’s determined to continue playing both red ball and white ball cricket for Australia, according to reports in Code Sports.
“My body still feels as strong as ever, it’s just little things here and there that creep in, I’m still determined to play three formats as best I can,” Hazlewood said explaining the variety helps to keep him fresh.

“You’re still going to miss the odd game here and there, no one can do it all, unless you’re a batter, but I still enjoy all the different demands of the three formats,” he continued.
Rather than dwell on his current injuries, Hazelwood pointed to his durability over the past year on the international stage as a major positive.
“I just played for pretty much 12 months straight not really missing many games of cricket at all, then you get a four-or-five-week injury at exactly the wrong time,” he said.
“If you are only missing six weeks of the year and you’re playing the other 10 or 11 months, then it’s probably a successful season.”
Unfortunately for Hazlewood his timing hasn’t been great in recent summers, with injuries restricting him to just 10 home Test Matches over the past five years.
Showing excellent form and rhythm to start the current summer, Hazlewood played a starring role in the T20I series in New Zealand, before once again proving a handful in the T20I and ODI matches against India in Australia.
Hazlewood has played 76 Tests, 96 ODI and 60 T20I matches for Australia since making his international debut in 2010.
