Do not adjust your television sets, cricket fans.

Thirty wickets have fallen in less than five sessions and England, remarkably, have a genuine shot to take the fourth Ashes Test at the MCG—as early as today—chasing 175 to win.

If they can do it, it would be England’s first Test match win on Australian soil since the 2010-11 Ashes Series.

None of the current England squad has ever tasted Test victory in Australia.

“This Test match has got to the point where it doesn’t matter what it looks like, you just have to get the job done,” Alyssa Healy said on Fox Cricket ahead of the England run chase.

“If England win it will be dramatic,” former England Test captain Michael Vaughan added.

“They don’t generally win easily.”

Judging by the early overs, fans can expect a T20-type chase from an England line-up desperate to win, or go down swinging.
