HOW TO WATCH BBL08

The cricket takeover at Fox Sports will bring all 59 matches into our living rooms. Yes, all 59.

Seven's Summer of Tennis will become the Summer of Cricket with the channel set to broadcast 43 matches.

Tune into BBL08 match broadcasts via Macquarie Sports Radio, SEN1116, and Cricket Australia digital channels.

Channel 7 and Fox Sports will broadcast 23 WBBL matches, with cricket.com.au to stream the remaining ones.

BBL08 TICKETS

Start your summer right and grab your BBL tickets before they sell out. Tickets for the 2018/19 season are available on Ticketek with all BBL and selected WBBL matches on sale, head to the BBL fixtures to find your club's schedule.

Prices for the upcoming BBL season remain unchanged for the eighth year running, with adult tickets from $20, kids tickets from $5, and family tickets from $42.50.

Big Bash 08 has got your summer nights covered with additional 19 matches squeezing into the schedule, featuring 59 games in just two months.

The league will take place between the opener on December 19 and will round up with the final on February 17, with which club playing 14 games in the regular rounds.

WBBL04 SCHEDULE

The Women's Big Bash League will take place between the opener on December first and the final on January 26. The entire opening weekend will be held at Junction Oval in Melbourne, kicking off with Perth Scorchers v Hobart Hurricances and Melbourne Stars v Sydney Sixers on Saturday December 1; Adelaide Strikers v Brisbane Heat and Melbourne Renegades v Sydney Thunder playing on the Sunday.

For the first time the Women's Big Bash finals will be played seperately from the men's tournament. The team who finishes on top of the table will earn the right to a home semi-final, while the team who qualifies for the deciding match will host the grand final. Previously, the Sydney Sixers taking out the series away from home, as the women's finals have been played as double headers with the men's Big Bash League.

WHAT HAPPENED IN BBL07?

#Adelaide Strikers

In BBL07 season the title was won by Adelaide Strikers, who defeated Hobart Hurricanes by 25 runs at Adelaide Oval. Jake Weatherald was named man of the match, making 115 from 70 balls.

D'Arcy Short from the Hobart Hurricanes hit the most runs of the season with 572, while Adelaide Striker Rashid Khan and Dwayne Bravo from the Renegadestook out the most wickets with 18 each to their name.

In the third season of the WBBL the Sydney Sixers won their second back to back title, defeating the Scorchers by 9 wickets.
