One of the most confusing things in cricket is the timing of sessions in a Test match.

When is lunch and tea break? How long are those breaks?

What time is the lunch break?

The lunch break will commence at 12:30pm (AEDT) and run for 40 minutes until 1:10pm (AEDT).

Lunch break can be taken early if there is rain or a wicket falls close to the scheduled lunch time.

What time is the tea break?

The tea break will commence at 3:10pm (AEDT) and run for 20 minutes until 3:30pm (AEDT).

Tea break can be taken early if there is rain or a wicket falls close to the scheduled tea time.

What time is stumps?

The end of play for the day (or stumps) will occur at 5:30pm (AEDT), with the possibility of an extra 30 minutes being added on to complete the day's overs.
