Oleksandr Usyk is a two-time undisputed heavyweight champion after he dropped and stopped an overmatched Daniel Dubois inside five one-sided rounds at Wembley on Saturday.
Usyk stopped Dubois in nine when they met in Worclaw, Poland in August 2023, but the British fighter cried foul after his round-five body shot that decked the Ukrainian was deemed low.
Dubois took this feeling of burning injustice to run through Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgovic, and Anthony Joshua, and he carried the IBF belt stripped from Usyk last year into this contest.
But the 38-year-old former cruiserweight king proved once again he is peerless among boxing's big men as he unified all the main belts once again.
As in their first fight, Usyk's wand of a southpaw jab set the tone, and he landed the backhand with concussive intent from a beguiling array of angles.
Dubois tried to impose his physicality, an understandable gambit that proved to be his undoing. In the fifth, Usyk caught Dubois flush, the home fighter tried to rush him into the corner and was caught and dropped by a short right hook he did not see.
The 27-year-old groggily rose but only until he encountered a peach of an Usyk left to be counted out.
Just like his compatriots Joshua and Tyson Fury, Dubois is another British world heavyweight champion to be dethroned and go 0-2 against the finest fighter of his era.
The Sporting News provided live coverage and results from the Usyk vs. Dubois card and round-by-round coverage of the main event.

Oleksandr Usyk vs. Daniel Dubois 2 live fight updates, highlights from 2025 boxing card
Oleksandr Usyk vs. Daniel Dubois - USYK WINS BY FIFTH-ROUND KNOCKOUT!
Round 5: Masterful from Usyk, who's landing from all angles. Now a big left to the jaw. Dubois looks to rush him into the corner but he's caught coming in and Dubois is down! He beats the count, but there's a huge shot from Usyk that crumbles Dubois! The Englishman gets as far and shifting onto his backside and he's counted out. OLEKSANDR USYK IS THE UNDISPUTED HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD... AGAIN!
Round 4: Another decent first minute from Dubois, controlling centre ring. But Usyk can't miss with the southpaw left. Dubois slips a couple of jab, slithers of encouragement but you need that against Usyk, because he can break your heart by wrigging out of trouble like he did just then. Dubois gets a body shot through, Usyk grins. Looked a bit low. Usyk cracks a left to the jaw, Dubois doesn't grin.
SN unofficial scorecard: Usyk 40-36 Dubois
Round 3: Dubois manages to take centre ring and push Usyk back at the start of the session. He needs more of this. Jab to the body from Dubois gets through. He takes a left to the forehead. Then he's nailed with a left coming in. The timing from Usyk makes these shots so concussive. The round has got away from Dubois after that early encouragement, but he manages a right uppercut to the chest. Nice and high, entirely legal.
SN unofficial scorecard: Usyk 30-27 Dubois
Round 2: The key thing for Dubois is not to chase this, tense up and gas. It goes without saying that Usyk will have to work every minute against such a Goliath. Dubois lands the right had a couple of times but over-commits and Usyk blasts back a left hook with interest. Another fabulous counter from the southpaw steadies Dubois before the bell.
SN unoffical scorecard: Usyk 20-18 Dubois
Round 1: Usyk impassive at the final instructions, Dubois swaying from side to side. They barely touch gloves. No love lost. Usyk speaks in a right jab to the body off the back foot. That's a ludicrously good opening gambit. Usyk is beating Dubois to the jab, rapier beating the ramrod, working particualrly well to the body. Dubois gropes with a left hook but Usyk is already on his way. Now the IBF champ gets a 1-2 to land on the gloves. Not scoring shots but far better than hitting fresh air, letting the smaller man know he's there. Dubois has a chance to unload in the neutral corner... or he thinks he does. Usyk off and away again. Now a rat-a-tat Usyk combination, from body to head. Excellent finish to the round.
SN unofficial scorecard: Usyk 10-9 Dubois
10:15 p.m. BST/ 5:15 p.m. ET: Michael Buffer doing his thing. We're moments away. Dubois has pledged chaos. He had the first round of his dreams against Joshua in this stadium 10 months ago. Can he pull off an astonishing repeat of that against an entirely different opponent? We're going round-by-round...
LLLLLLEEEETTT'SSSS GET READY TO RUUUUMMMMBBBBLLLLLEEEEE!!!!
10:12 p.m. BST/ 5:12 p.m. ET: Here comes Usyk. Ice cold. He's done this so many times before. That's unlikely to mean complacency, though. The Ukrainian's beguiling skills can make us forget how high risk it is every time he gets in with heavyweight giants like Joshua, Fury and Dubois. He steps back in again to extinguish any lingering doubt over who is the best heavyweight in the world today. White fireworks for the unified champion.
10:07 p.m. BST/ 5:07 p.m. ET: Dubois' recent banner wins play over the stadium screens. Then we get a fire show, and now here comes the IBF champion. Bouncing in his toes, whipping around his lethal right hand. He looks focused and confident. Although I thought he looked nervous on the Joshua ringwalk and look how that played out. These moments are both fascinating and an absolute mug's game for amateur psychologists. Red fireworks peel off the Wemblety Stadium roof. A spectacular sight.
10:00 p.m. BST/ 5:00 p.m. ET: Here we go, then. As the national anthems of each fighter are sung, it's worth pondering how we got here. Yes, so much of the pre-fight narrative has focused on the low blow that decked Usyk in the initial fight. The foul that had Team Dubois loudly crying "foul" and "robbery". But that has downplayed the fact that Usyk won pretty much ever round in Worclaw. The reason we're here is Dubois' sensational run of form since then, battering Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgovic and Anthony Joshua to defeat. That gives Dubois hope, with his confidence riding high. However, Usyk has just beaten Tyson Fury twice, which makes a pretty strong case for repeat over revenge.
Lawrence Okolie vs. Kevin Lerena - OKOLIE WINS BY UNANIMOUS DECISION
9:48 p.m. BST/ 4:48 p.m. ET: Solid performance from Okolie, who was too big and too good for Lerena. It was hardly one to set the pulse racing but Okolie will be an awkward night for most heavyweights. There's not need to rush head long into the biggest fights. He can still find his optimum weight, as 262 pounds is a lot for an athletic man to haul around. Also, as accomplished as he looks at times, it's worth remembering Dubois blasted Lerena out in three rounds on one leg. The official verdicts show a landslide in Okolie's favour, 99-91 and 100-90 twice.
9:26 p.m. BST/ 4:26 p.m. ET: Halfway through the scheduled 10 and Okolie is bossing a fight that, if we're being honest, is not as explosive as either man suggested. Okolie is rangy and awkward and is being allowed to box at his pace. Lerena needs to change this up and book for his backhand more often or this will slip away from him.

9:13 p.m. BST/ 4:13 p.m. ET: Solid opening round from Okolie, whose right hand looks a weapon up at heavyweight. But when they trade up in the second, Lerena lands a left hook that looks like it buzzes Okolie. It's wild and chaotic from the South African, who almost punches himself with his own uppercut.
9:05 p.m. BST/ 4:05 p.m. ET: On we go to our co-main event in the heavyweight division. Former WBO cruiserweight champion Okolie makes the first defence of his WBC silver heavyweight title against Kevin Lerena, whose previous outing at a UK stadium ended in a dramatic loss to Dubois.
Lerena floored Dubois three times during a wild opening round, where the home fighter injured his knee. Dubois managed to turn the contest around and blasted the southpaw to a third-round knockout loss. On his most recent step up to world level, Lerena was slightly unfortunate to drop a unanimous decision to Justis Huni on the Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou undercard.

Okolie is ranked No. 1 by the WBC, although a shot at the Usyk vs. Dubois winner isn't immediately imminent, given Agit Kabayal is the organisation's interim champion. Nevertheless, this fight is an opportunity for two former cruiserweights to put themselves in the wider top-15 conversation. Okolie has certainly embraced his new weight class, as he tipped the scales at 262 pounds on Friday — 62 pounds in excess of his old cruiserweight limit.
Daniel Lapin vs. Lewis Edmondson - LAPIN WINS BY MAJORITY DECISION
8:45 p.m. BST/ 3:45 p.m. ET: Those two bodyshots towards the end of round eight lit the touchpaper for Lapin, who finished in gutsy fashion to try and retain his undefeated record. And that rally proves decisive as Lapin wins it by majority decision, 96-94 on two cards, with the third even 95-95. Lapin surely won both of those last two rounds to pull it out of the fire. Edmondson suffers a maiden career defeat but emerges with plenty of credit.
8:34 p.m. BST/ 3:34 p.m. ET: Problems for Lapin here, who appears to have suffered an arm injury. Edmondson looks to unload on wounded prey and almost bundles the Ukrainian through the ropes. That brings a shot time-out but Edmondson is right back to work. Lapin has no jab to call upon and the Englishman bangs away to the body on the ropes. Lapin responds with a couple of nice left uppercuts to the body. It goes against his well-schooled nature but he's just going to have to throw powershots to get out of this. Lapin looks dishevelled in his corner at the end of the eighth.
8:24 p.m. BST/ 3:24 p.m. ET: Still not loads of clean shots landing, as we're getting plenty of the southpaw vs. orthodox scruffiness, but those that are landing are coming from Edmondson. He's moving in and out nice. The referee just admonished the pair for holding. Lapin struggling for rhythm and not too much purchase on the shots he is getting through.
Meanwhile, Daniel Dubois has left it late getting to Wembley. Ringwalks are due at 9:45 local time. Usyk already has his hands wrapped. It was a talking point after Dubois's sensational win over Anthony Joshua that AJ arrived late at Wembley. Let's see if we're talking about this in a couple of hours.

8:13 p.m. BST/ 3:13 p.m. ET: Lots of fencing behind their respective southpaw and orthodox jabs from Lapin and Edmondson. Each have tried to force the action t times before returning to the outside. Not entirely unexpectedly, this one is yet to truly catch fire. Lapin has started to make Edmondson miss but the Englishman gets home a lovely check left hook just before the end of round three. A tough one to score, but Edmondson will probably be the happier of the two.
7:55 p.m. BST/ 2:55 p.m. ET: Okay, so that's UK 1-0 Ukraine and we've two more contests of that nature coming up. Lewis Edmondson is into the ring and waiting for Usyk's training partner Daniel Lapin. This promises to be a high-class battle at light heavyweight with two fighters coming off career-best wins. Lapin is the favourite, but so was Sirenko, I guess.

Vladyslav Sirenko vs. Solomon Dacres - DACRES WINS BY UNANIMOUS DECISION
7:50 p.m. BST/ 2:50 p.m. ET: We go the full 10 and Dacres gets it by the deservedly wide margins of 99-91, 98-92 and 99-92. The former English champion made that look such a formality from more or less the first bell that it's easy to overlook what a significant upset this is. Sirenko was an undefeated 22-0 wrecking machine with 19 KOs, but had the heavy padding of his record exposed by Dacres, who boxed beautifully and showed himself to be a level above. After the desolation of his brutal loss to David Adeleye, Dacres moves to 10-1 and is right back in the conversation for more big fights. Team Sirenko have a substantial rebuilding job on their hands going off tonight's evidence from the 30-year-old prospect.
7:30 p.m. BST/ 2:30 p.m. ET: Six rounds down and I have this as a Dacres shutout right now. Sirenko looks out of ideas but still has that dynamite in his hands. Two notes of caution for anyone in the Dacres business: the Briton did look tired at the end of the last round, he's working hard mentally and physically in there; also, fights where the man on the back foot picking off the come-forward fighter can result in some utterly bizarre scorecards.
7:17 p.m. BST/ 2:17 p.m. ET: Sirenko plodding forward ponderously. He's flat footed and Dacres is picking him off with sharp, stinging shots. The Englishman is winning these rounds and looks to be getting a bit of a reaction in the third, uncorking an overhand right and a left hook to the chin. Sirenko responded by looking for the equaliser with Dacres squared up. This is heating up very nicely as Oleksandr Usyk makes his entrance to the stadium.

7:10 p.m. BST/ 2:10 p.m. ET: Sirenko has 11 first-round knockouts on his record but Dacres gets out of the first session and has had some success, marking his opponent slightly under the right eye. Sirenko appears content to march forward behind a high guard and let bombs go. Dacres is boxing skilfully but lacks elite power, so will have to stay switched on.
6:55 p.m. BST/ 1:40 p.m. ET: Up next, we have the first of three Ukraine vs. UK. Sirenko has an imposing 22-0 record with 19 KOs, but that's come against fairly moderate opposition. Dacres is stepping straight back in with another power puncher after being blasted out in a round by David Adeleye to suffer a first career defeat, but the former Team GB squad member will fancy his chances of causing some problems here.
Aadam Hamed vs. Ezequiel Gregores - HAMED WINS ON POINTS
6:40 p.m. BST/ 1:40 p.m. ET: Referee Amy Pugh unsurprisingly scores it 40-36. Hamed popped the jab a little more concussively during the second half but was content enough to bank the rounds and keep his shape en route to a comfortable victory. There's plenty to like about the Jamie Moore prospect, who could probably trim down to super lightweight and will surely step up his rounds and level of opposition next time out.

6:30 p.m. BST/ 1:30 p.m. ET: Hamed boxing smartly behind the southpaw jab, getting in and out with his feet and not rushing his work. It's easy work, with little to nothing coming back from Gregores. Will he push for the stoppage over the second half of this four-round contest?
6:20 p.m. BST/ 1:20 p.m. ET: Aadam Hamed is on his way to the ring, with rain falling in London. Hamed is the son of British boxing icon 'Prince' Naseem. He faces 31-year-old Argentine journeyman Ezequiel Gregores and, barring anything utterly unforeseen, he'll be moving to 6-0 as a pro. Gregores has proven tough to shift over the course of his career, although he has been stopped twice in his past three defeats, suggesting his durability might be on the wane.
