Sydney Swans midfielder Taylor Adams was hospitalised overnight following an off-field incident in Sydney's eastern suburbs.
The 32-year-old was reportedly at a club at about 10:10 p.m., when he was involved in argument with two men and subsequently struck in the face, according to Seven's Matthew Younan.
The alleged blow is believed to have briefly left him unconscious.
On Sunday, the Swans confirmed Adams had returned home after spending the night in hospital.

"Sydney Swans player Taylor Adams was the victim of an incident across the road from an Eastern Suburbs establishment last night," a statement read.
"Adams was taken to hospital after the incident for further assessment. He was released from hospital at 7am Sunday morning and will be monitored on a daily basis.
"The Sydney Swans does not tolerate violence in any form and is working with Adams and NSW police to identify the offender."
Adams was traded to Sydney at the end of the 2023 season. In 2025 he managed just four games at senior level, following an injury-interrupted season.
