Whilst Charlie Curnow continues to dominate the majority of trade talk, Sydney has begun introducing the names of some of its own stars into trade discussions.

Carlton has been adamant from the beginning of all Curnow speculation that acquiring his services will take more than just draft picks -

And Sydney has exactly that.

Ollie Florent and Will Hayward are two names that have been raised, with Reports stating that both players have now come to terms with the possibility of being part of trade offers for Curnow.

Whilst both have been reluctant in recent days to such a move, Will Hayward is open to being part of a Charlie Curnow trade, reports SEN’s Tom Morris.

Morris states that Hayward and the Swans have been in discussions about his future, and despite being contracted until 2029, the South Australian is okay with heading to Victoria and playing for Carlton.

Meanwhile, Florent is yet to be as open to a move south of the border. However, he is accepting that there is a strong possibility he will be playing for the Blues in 2026.

Such a trade package could pique the interest of Chris Davies and the Carlton football club.

The Blues showed serious interest in Hayward last year before he re-signed at Sydney for five more years.

Whilst The Swans' first-round pick is also inside the top 12, which has much more appeal for the Blues than the late first-rounders offered by the Cats.

If Sydney were to move the pair on, they would also clear more than $1.2 million in the Swans' salary cap, which would hugely assist the club with the Curnow acquisition.
