While Geelong and Brisbane make their final preparations for the 2025 Grand Final, American rapper Snoop Dogg will get the crowd at the MCG, and those watching on around the world, pumped up for the big game.
The 53-year-old Californian is the latest big-name international artist to headline the pre-match entertainment ahead of the AFL's decider.
"It’s an absolute honour to be hitting the stage at the AFL Grand Final — it’s one of the biggest events on the Aussie calendar," Snoop Dogg said via a statement.

With a decades-long back catalogue, countless starring features and multiple number one hits, Snoop doesn't come cheap.

How much is Snoop Dogg getting paid for the AFL Grand Final?
While no exact figure has been revealed, and likely never will be, reports have suggested Mr. Dogg is receiving between AU$2 million - $AU5 million for the performance.
Either way, it's a good earn for what will amount to about 20 minutes of stage time.
Last year, the Herald Sun reported that pre-match entertainer Katy Perry was paid around AU$5 million for her performance.
In 2023, KISS got the MCG on its collective feet, although no figure for the legendary rockers was reported.
Prior to that, Robbie Williams reportedly earned around AU$1 million for his efforts before the 2022 decider.
