Jamarra Ugle-Hagan's final opportunity to play AFL next season will depend on a meeting with the Gold Coast Suns.
The 23-year-old is currently no chance to remain at the Bulldogs in 2036, and no other AFL clubs have shown interest in his services.
Ugle-Hagan is set to meet with Gold Coast representatives in the coming days, as the Suns do their due diligence on the player, who has courted controversy throughout 2025.
If Gold Coast decide they want to sign the former No.1 draft pick, he will likely be acquired for next to no draft capital, while the player will need to take a significant paycut on his recent $900,000-a-season contract with the Bulldogs.

“As far as we can tell, it’s really Gold Coast, or bust for Jamarra Ugle-Hagan,” journalist Tom Morris said on Monday night.
“The club is doing its due diligence on the forward, and as part of this process, Ugle-Hagan’s management and the Suns are organising a meeting time.
“There’s still no certainty that Gold Coast will commit to the player, but the fact that they’re open to the meeting tells us it’s at least a consideration.
“The Bulldogs would let him go for a late draft pick and every last dollar of his $900,000 contract off their books.”
Ugle Hagan is currently on personal leave from Bulldogs commitments and won't attend the club's best and fairest on Wednesday night.
