It might be an idea for someone to take Bailey Smith's phone away from him until Geelong's post-grand final commiserations are complete.
The blond midfielder is the AFL's most popular player on Instagram, with well over 400,000 followers.
Geelong players generated their annual attention for their creative outfits for Mad Monday celebrations, featuring South Park characters, movie stars and a Caroline Wilson impersonation.
But Tom De Koning and Ollie Dempsey's tease about the club's Cotton On sponsorship and alleged salary cap massaging drew by far the most attention.

This is where Smith and his phone step in.
Bailey posted a screenshot of De Koning and Dempsey arriving for the party in an Aston Martin to his Instagram stories and added the caption: "We're taking the chopper in next year @charliecurnow."
Carlton forward Charlie Curnow has of course been linked with Geelong and Smith - who is sponsored personally by Cotton On - thought it would be funny to make a reference to next year's Mad Monday party.
To the surprise of nobody, Smith soon deleted the post.
The 2025 All-Australian then continued posting on the platform, promising after each one it would be the last, before publishing something else.
Smith has regularly paid his respects to captain Patrick Dangerfield for mentoring the first-year Cat and we reckon 'Danger' is the man to hang onto his young teammate's phone for the time being.
In a scenario with echoes of Christian Petracca's time with Melbourne, Curnow and the Blues have insisted the dual Coleman medallist isn't going anywhere.
The whispers won't go away, however, with the Suns and Swans also interested in tempting Curnow away from Carlton, where he is contracted through 2029.
