The first AFL trade of the 2025 off-season has finally happened on the second day of the trade period, with Carlton landing Liam Reidy from Fremantle.
Reidy played just three games for the Dockers, with his only game this year coming in Round 3 against Geelong, where he had 18 hitouts.
The 204cm ruckman has been behind Dockers duo Sean Darcy and Luke Jackson in the battle for ruck duties at the club.
Playing for Fremantle's WAFL team, Peel Thunder, he won the 2024 WAFL premiership and has played 52 games across three seasons for the Thunder.

He nominated Carlton as his preferred club in early September, while the Blues have lost ruckman Tom De Koning to St Kilda, so the 25-year-old will be a welcome addition to the Navy Blues.
The paperwork for the trade was lodged on Tuesday morning, with the following trade happening.
What Fremantle received: (R3) pick 50, (R4) pick 68
What Carlton received: Liam Reidy, (R3) pick 53, (R4) pick 71
The AFL trade period started on Monday and will finish on Wednesday, 15 October at 7:30 pm.
