After Sydney spoke of their desire to bring in Carlton star Charlie Curnow, the player himself has given an indication he is considering a move.
Curnow followed 'True Bloods Podcast' on Instagram on Monday afternoon - a Sydney fan show - as the Swans commence their chase for the 28-year-old two-time Coleman Medallist.
Since the social media activity was made public, Curnow reversed the follow but speculation is raging on his future with his want to leave the Blues.
It has been reported Curnow is keen on a move to Geelong, while Gold Coast have shown interest also.

But with the Cats prioritising a deal for St Kilda ruckman Rowan Marshall, and the Suns looking like snaring Jamarra Ugle-Hagan, the Swans are the first club to make a public declaration on wanting Curnow.
“We’re clearly interested in bringing Charlie to the football club but we also respect that he’s a contracted player at the Carlton Football Club at the moment and we’ll take it from there,” Sydney head of list strategy Chris Keane said on Monday.
“Our conversations with Carlton have been pretty limited to this stage. If it becomes a bit more known that he’s willing to come to our footy club, we’ll ramp those up over the coming nine days.
“We’ve had some communication with Charlie, but most of it has been through his management.
“We’re hopeful (he’ll play for us in 2026).”
Keane added: “We’ve made him a priority in this trade period, but we’ll also do what’s best for our footy club."
However, Carlton's most recent statement on Curnow suggests they want to hold the player to his contract, which expires at the end of 2029.
“Our position on Charlie has been pretty clear for quite some time now,” Austin told Carlton Media.
“We had a really honest conversation with Charlie at the end of the season, and again, every decision we make is in the best interests of the Carlton Football Club.
“He’s had a chance to go away over the break and have a bit of a refresh, but we fully expect him to be a Carlton player in 2026.”
Something has got to give and it will at some point during trade period.
