Carlton, Gold Coast and Port Adelaide make three-way AFL trade image

Carlton, Port Adelaide and Gold Coast have made a surprising three-way trade involving two players and three draft picks.

The trade sees small forward Corey Durdin head from Carlton to Port Adelaide, and midfielder Ben Ainsworth head from Gold Coast to Carlton.

The Blues, Power and Suns have all gained a draft pick in the trade with the two players heading to their respective teams.

Ainsworth has played 156 games for the Suns since being selected with pick 4 in the 2016 national draft, and played 25 games for the club this year.

Durdin has played 64 games and kicked 48 goals for the Blues since being selected with 37 in the 2020 national draft.

Port Adelaide received: Corey Durdin, 2026 R2 pick (from Carlton)

Carlton received: Ben Ainsworth, pick 67 (from Port Adelaide)

Gold Coast received: Pick 29 (from Port Adelaide)
