Melbourne might be having a chaotic trade period, but they've signed their second player through a trade with Collingwood, with Pies forward Brody Mihocek signing for the club.
Mihocek is a strong pick-up for the Demons, who have struggled to have a veteran forward down front, with the Pies forward bringing plenty of experience to the Dees.
Collingwood traded Mihocek and pick 71 to Melbourne for pick 61 and a 2026 round three pick in the deal that saw the 32-year-old switch teams.
The forward kicked 36 goals across 22 games this year for the Pies and was their leading goalkicker for 5 consecutive years from 2019-2023.

The 192cm forward was selected with pick 22 in the 2018 rookie draft by the Pies and was in their premiership-winning side in 2023, kicking a goal in their four-point win against the Lions.
Melbourne's list manager Tim Lamb said the club was excited to welcome Mihocek to the club.
“Brody has been a consistent performer at the elite level for a number of years now, and his presence up forward, as well as his ability to hit the scoreboard, will be a great addition for us," Lamb said in a press release from the Demons.
“He is a terrific character, and we look forward to seeing what he can do in the red and blue.”
This marks the second day in a row that the Demons have picked up a player, with the team trading for St Kilda's Max Heath yesterday.
Heath is a 204cm ruck and forward option for the Dees and was traded into the club for a 2027 future fourth-round selection.
