Western Bulldogs and GWS Giants have had a pick swap, including first-round picks, with one of the picks received by the Bulldogs set to be used for a trade with Gold Coast.
The trade sees the Bulldogs trade pick 12 to the Giants for pick 14 and pick 37, with the latter pick to be used to trade for a player from the Suns.
Gold Coast Suns player Connor Budarick requested a trade to the Bulldogs early in the trade period, and it is now being reported by AFL.com.au journalist Callum Twomey that pick 37 will be used in a trade for him between the Bulldogs and Suns.
Talking about Budarick joining the club last week, the Bulldogs' head of player acquisition, Michael Regan, said the club was looking forward to having Budarick join the Dogs.

“First off, we’re really excited that Connor has made the choice to join the Western Bulldogs... we will be working through the Connor situation from Gold Coast, and we’ll take it from there," Regan told AFL Trade Radio.
Budarick was an academy selection with the Suns selecting him with pick 16 in the 2019 rookie draft, and he played 45 games across six seasons for the Suns, including 19 games this year.
The Suns have had a busy trade period with Malcolm Rosas Jr., Sam Flanders, Ben Ainsworth and Budarick (expected to be traded) all traded away from the Suns.
The Queensland-based team is expected to bring in Bulldog Jamarra Ugle-Hagan and Melbourne superstar Christian Petracca on a trade that is expected to go down to the last day.
