- 2:13pm - Both teams run on to the MCG
- 2:25pm - National anthem and Welcome to Country ceremonies
- 2:30pm - First bounce of the AFL grand final
- 3:45pm (approx): Half-time grand final sprint

Snoop Dogg's set at the AFL grand final is set to start at 1:30pm (AEST) - one hour before the first bounce.
How much is Snoop Dogg getting paid for the AFL Grand Final?
While no exact figure has been revealed, and likely never will be, reports have suggested Mr. Dogg is receiving between AU$2 million - $AU5 million for the performance.
Either way, it's a good earn for what will amount to about 20 minutes of stage time.
Last year, the Herald Sun reported that pre-match entertainer Katy Perry was paid around AU$5 million for her performance.
In 2023, KISS got the MCG on its collective feet, although no figure for the legendary rockers was reported.
Prior to that, Robbie Williams reportedly earned around AU$1 million for his efforts before the 2022 decider.
