With the AFL finals getting underway this week, Essendon great Matthew Lloyd expects to see a number of surprise results over the opening round.
The Crows, Cats, Lions and Pies secured the coveted top-four positions and the finals second chances, while the Giants host Hawthorn and the Dockers welcome the debutant Suns to Perth.
Out of all the teams battling for this year's premiership, 2000 flag winner Lloyd has identified the side he thinks is best placed for a deep run, starting with an upset in Geelong on Friday night.
"I think Brisbane is the best side in it," Lloyd said on 3AW Radio. "I know they've got some injuries. I'm just going to back in their form against great opposition.

"Who knows, I don't tip nine every week, but I think Brisbane when they flip the switch they're hard to beat.
"Brisbane has had the hardest draw and Geelong has had one of the easiest, so I'm going to back in Brisbane's form against good opposition."
Brisbane is getting healthy at the right time of the season, with Lachie Neale and Jarrod Berry returning to fitness and Oscar McInerney performing well in the VFL in recent weeks.
Another team Lloyd has his eyes on is Hawthorn. The Hawks have an 0-8 record at ENGIE Stadium and lost two of their final four games of the regular season.
But those two defeats came in competitive efforts on the road against the Crows and Lions and the former Essendon spearhead believes they will beat GWS on Saturday afternoon.
"Hawthorn are 0-8 at Engie Stadium in Sydney, but I'm going to tip them to break that and beat GWS," he said.
Lloyd does expect the two other finals to go to script, backing Adelaide to win a close game against Collingwood, while he appears most confident about the Dockers ending the Gold Coast's inaugural finals campaign in week one.
"I think Freo is the one that's most obvious for me," he added. "I think at home they should beat the Gold Coast Suns."
