Only hours before the start of the AFL Draft, the Western Bulldogs and Gold Coast Suns have agreed to a late pick swap.
The deal will see the Dogs move back one position in the first round, sending picks 14, 33 and 53 to the Suns in exchange for picks 15 and 29, according to AFL.com.au's Cal Twomey.
According to Twomey, the deal enables the Suns to receive extra points to help match bids on academy prospects such as Zeke Uwland, who is one of the first names expected to be read out by CEO Andrew Dillon.
The Suns already have pick 18 in tonight's first round.
