Jamarra Ugle-Hagan touched down on the Gold Coast on Tuesday night as rumours of a potential move to the Suns ramp up.
Despite being contracted to the Bulldogs for 2026, the expectation is that the talented forward will depart the club this off-season.
Ugle-Hagan didn't play a senior game this year and spent much of the campaign away from the club as he deals with complex personal issues.

In recent days, reports have suggested Gold Coast are looking into the prospect of making a play for the former number one draft pick, with coach Damien Hardwick understood to be driving the interest.
Media was on hand to greet Ugle-Hagan when he touched down in Queensland on Tuesday, but it seemed some hadn't quite done their homework on the 23-year-old.
"How'd you, like- obviously your season went pretty good?" a reporter asked the.
"You played well, and what not?"
Barely managing to contain his laughter, Ugle-Hagan played a straight bat:

Ugle-Hagan also kept his cards pretty close to his chest when asked whether he'd be meeting with the Suns while on the Gold Coast, but confirmed he was keen to resume his career at AFL level.
"Obviously it's the dream to play AFL football," he told Nine News.
"It's a good spot for a holiday."
Ugle-Hagan has played 67 senior games since being taken with the first pick in the 2020 draft, booting 103 goals.
It's understood the Bulldogs would accept a cut-price trade for Ugle-Hagan, provided his next club takes his full salary on board, which Nine's Tom Morris reports to be worth around $900,000 in 2026.
